In celebration of The Geneva Association’s 50th anniversary, we are pleased to announce Summit 50, a special event taking place in Zurich, Switzerland on 28–29 November 2023. Join us as we explore the biggest challenges facing the world – and insurers – in the coming decades.
Registration will open in July 2023. In-person participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Virtual participation will be open to all.
Conference overview
The major risks facing society in 1973, the year The Geneva Association was founded, bear close resemblance to those we face today: from geopolitical uncertainty to rising energy costs, inflation and cost-of-living crises.
Major trends like technology and demographic shifts, however, have catalysed new risks. Further shifts are on the horizon.
At The Geneva Association’s Summit 50 we’ll project ourselves into the future, tackling questions like ‘How will new technologies impact how we manage our health and our interface with health insurance?’ and ‘What will insurance companies look like in 2050?’, with insight from Christian Mumenthaler, Chairman of The Geneva Association and CEO of Swiss Re, and Antonio Huertas Mejías, CEO of MAPFRE. We’ll also announce the winner of our 2023 Women in Insurance Award in a special ceremony at Summit 50. (Nominations due 30 June)
Join us for this anniversary event as we celebrate The Geneva Association’s 50-year milestone!
